Concept & Visual Development

logoFinal.png

Beedo is a simple ball-and-paddle game where your main objective is to save the Earth from the harmful effects of climate change using the natural phenomenon of Albedo!

Lighthearted and fun, this project aims to educate players of all ages about greenhouse gases and the impact of color in global warming.

I worked collaboratively on this project with a small team of 3 people as an Art Director, responsible for dictating a style for many of the visual assets as well as some UI, pattern, and title elements.

Beedo will be available to play on multiple mobile platforms on the app store sometime in the coming future !

Release date TBA

Misc. Initial Concepts

Some concept work to feel out a general style for the game as well as brainstorm possible layouts for in-game background assets. Logo and title screen thumbnails/sketches are also included.

Changing Backgrounds

As you fail to reflect back colored balls of light with your paddle, the world around you gradually changes. These backgrounds are meant to illustrate the impact of climate change as less light energy is reflected away from hitting the earth's surface.

Logo and Pattern

A few different passes on a logo design as well as the final choice of background for in-game menus.
